John Fletcher, Nick Reynolds, Gareth Williams, Nick McGowan, and Andrew Muir took the challenge seriously, getting in as much practice as possible before the event.
The weather was glorious throughout the three days and despite a few punctures and mechanical failures along the way, the team bonded well and motivated each other as they went!
The money raised was for Transaid’s important and invaluable work developing safe and sustainable transport in Africa where even small amounts can help save lives and make a massive difference.
The final total raised (from both on and offline donations) was a fantastic £10,000.
The team did brilliantly and described the event as a great challenge, well organised, and fun. They especially enjoyed the marvellous camaraderie.
Such was the fantastic experience, they all agreed that they’d jump at the chance of doing a similar challenge in the future!
