In what was an amazing achievement, Dawsongroup truck and trailer won both the ‘Customer Service’ and the ‘Rental, Leasing and Contract Hire Provider of the Year’ awards. What’s more, it was the second year in a row that we scooped the Rental, Leasing and Contract Hire award!
The competition was stiff in both categories and all the entries were strong. However, the panel of judges were very impressed by the high quality of our submissions, the fact that we're more than just a rental company, as well as our modern fleet, high level of expertise and willingness to find solutions for our customers.
In addition to the two Dawsongroup truck and trailer awards, Steve Miller, CEO of Dawsongroup, received the ‘Service to Industry’ award, which was presented in recognition of his achievement with the Group.
In particular, he was praised for developing a unique management culture and being instrumental in growing a market-leading business in what is a very competitive sector.
The awards were presented at an online ceremony on the evening of Thursday 2nd October, which brought the first-ever digital Commercial Motor Show to a close.
