The company was previously a Dawsongroup truck and trailer transient rental customer through our Peterborough depot, having first rented a curtainside trailer from us in 2018.
Since then, we’ve provided excellent customer service and applied our wide knowledge of the UK transport market to foster an excellent working relationship and develop a true partnership.
This, together with becoming the key trailer supplier to the wider Bunzl Group, enabled us to put in place a deal involving three Lawrence David curtainside trailers on a fully-inclusive, 60-month contract hire agreement.
Having taken the time to understand the Woodway business and its specific requirements, we were able to specify trailers that futureproofed the company’s fleet - Traccess pillarless tallboy trailers, built with an overall 4.8m height to allow for double-stacked pallets of packaging.
The new trailers were replacements for aging assets and demonstrate Woodway’s commitment to investing in the latest equipment to support its customer base.
They will also assist in the company’s expansion and a move to a new-build site in Burton Latimer, which will provide 22,000-pallet storage space for its products.
Finished in Woodway UK’s latest, eye-catching livery, the new trailers provide the added benefit of a higher brand profile both while out on the road and to its employees.
